Welcome at the homepage of MPE (market-oriented product development) at Cooperative State University Karlsruhe (DHBW).
Within 18 weeks, students of the DHBW Karlsruhe are developing innovative products and assembling a prototype of the products. One target for the teams is to set up enough subsiding budget to cover their own cost. The project-teams work on their own and are supported by a coaching team.

Prof. Martin Haas has developed this innovative teaching and learning method in order to train the skills of future engineers in the areas of project and product management as well as technical marketing.

The Cooperative State University Baden-Wuertemberg (DHBW) is the second largest university in Baden-Wurttemberg with 27.000 students and 730 professors. On the 1st March 2009 the DHBW replaced the Berufsakademien.

The ''State Teaching Award Baden-Wuerttemberg 2011'' awarded to MPE
Since the mid-90s, outstanding performances in teaching are awarded annually with the ''State Teaching Award Baden-Wuerttemberg'' by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts.
